OUR WINE CELLAR

HISTORY, INNOVATION, AND SUSTAINABILITY

The history of our wine cellar begins around 300 years ago, even then with the far-sighted goal of sustainability. Mostly built of natural stone and underground, the estate is constantly modernized and expanded and today represents one of the most beautiful, most traditional, but at the same time also the most innovative cellars in Italy.

First-class wines are made here with respect for the environment and in harmony with nature, handcrafted from the sustainably farmed grapes from the best vineyard locations. The size of the facilities and the vineyards owned by the family make the estate one of the most productive wineries in the region.

A STATE-OF-THE-ART FERMENTATION CELLAR

GENTLE GRAPE PROCESSING

Since the harvest in 2015, a state-of-the-art fermentation cellar has enabled extremely gentle processing of the harvest with the help of gravity. A highly sensitive acceptance point and the transport of the grapes by means of conveyor belt and small "cuvons" allow for an extremely gentle forwarding of the grapes up to the small, conical fermentation tanks. The investment created the prerequisites for a highly gentle processing of whole berries and aims to further optimize the quality of our most important red wines. In this concept, which respects sustainable creation, the cellar is one of the most modern fermentation cellars in all of Italy.
