Riesling Vigna "Castel Ringberg"

The Riesling Vigna “Castel Ringberg” reflects its origin in Italy's most northerly wine-growing region and best Riesling area with subtle aromas. Fruity aromas of white blossoms, dried apricots and herbs combine with succulent minerality in a racy interplay of acidity. The wine comes from the single vineyard site above the Lago di Caldaro and matures directly at its source in large wooden barrels, followed by bottle aging.

TERROIR OF VIGNA CASTEL RINGBERG

The altitude of the vineyard, located between 330 and 400 meters above sea level, creates an optimal microclimate for the production of wines with a distinctive character. The mild climate of Lake Caldaro is complemented by the cool night breezes and the strong southern afternoon wind "Ora," which brings dry air to the vineyard. The extreme care taken in tending the vineyard, with a strong respect for nature, and the deliberately low yields contribute to making the "Castel Ringberg" vineyard a cradle of exceptional wines.
